Three Bangladeshi nationals including two children and a woman returned home from India
Syed Khairul Alam, International Desk:
Razia Akhtar and three Bangladeshi nationals, including two children, have returned home after being detained in India for a long time.
(September 18) After a break on an IndiGo flight 6E575 from Bangalore to Chennai at 5 am, the plane carrying them arrived at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 4:15 pm on flight 1113 at 1:15 pm Indian time.
After immigration and inquiries at the airport, the immigration authorities handed over the body of Syed Khairul Alam, chairman of the Human Rescue and Child Protection Organisation, who had worked to prevent human trafficking, at 6 pm.
Later, Syed Khairul Alam, who was present at the airport, received them and handed them over to their families. Razia Akhter's father, Amjad Hossain, mother, Minara Begum, brother, Monir Hossain and sister, Rabeya, were present during the handover.
Upon returning to the airport, Razia Akhter said that after the fall of the Awami League government, Bangladeshis in India were arrested. Many were arrested there, I was arrested along with my husband and children. Although I was able to return home after a long time, my husband is now detained in Bengaluru, India.
Razia Akhter cried out to her parents and hugged her mother with utmost affection. Razia's daughter, Majeda, and baby Rabbi Nana were overwhelmed with joy upon seeing their grandparents. They expressed their gratitude to humanitarian social worker Syed Khairul Alam for being able to return home.
It is worth noting that Razia Akhter's husband, Mathim Howlader, is still staying in a shelter home in India, and efforts are underway to bring him back to the country very soon.
Syed Khairul Alam said that Razia Akhter was overwhelmed with emotion after meeting her parents and relatives at the airport. He said that after marriage, Razia went to India illegally with her husband. That's where her first child, Majedar, was born. Razia returned to the country during the Corona period. Then she went to India again through a broker. That's where her second child, Rabbi, was born. They were having a good time with their husband and children. When the detention of illegal Bangladeshi infiltrators in India was intensified, the Vivek Nagar police station arrested them in their own families. Later, they were kept in the safe custody of the New Ark Mission of India, KRC Road , Doddagubbi Bengaluru Destitute Home. When the details were given to the founder and secretary of the New Ark Mission of India Home for the Destitute, Thomas Raja (Auto Raja), and Manager (Srinivas) Syed Khairul Alam, he started the next activities and after all the state activities through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Home Affairs, Special Branch of Police, Deputy High Commissioner Chennai and the founder secretary of the Ark Mission of India, Thomas Raja (Auto Raja), Syed Khairul Alam said that it was successful.
Syed Khairul Alam, Chairman of the Human Rescue and Child Protection Organization for Victims of Trafficking, further said that the founder and secretary of the New Ark Mission of India, Thomas Raja (Auto Raja), has been doing such humanitarian activities for 28 years under the initiative of a registered trust called the New Ark Mission of India. Their aim and objective is to rescue helpless people lying on the streets, who are poor, needy, homeless, sick, underprivileged and often suffering from various diseases like tuberculosis, cancer, HIV, kidney and liver, as well as old age.
In particular, by collaborating with the police, 108 ambulance service, government hospitals, other NGOs and government beggar rehabilitation centres, they rescue destitute people and help them return to their homes in shelter homes for rehabilitation and handover to their families. To the best of my knowledge, in the last 28 years, more than 22,000 people have been rescued from this institution. Sadly, more than 9,000 people have died with dignity, while more than 7,000 have escaped and more than 4,000 have been reunited with their families. Currently, their institution has 900 residents.
The destitute residents come to this home, they stay for the rest of their lives and the founder and secretary Thomas Raja takes the best care of them by providing them with nutritious food three times a day, clothing, shelter, medical care, rehabilitation and skill development.
Thomas Raja said that for 28 years, we have been running this charity purely by Public donations.
For all our facilities, as we are known to not receive any government assistance, funds or support to serve the dying and the destitute.
They also provide care to foreigners whose visas have expired and who are overstaying in the country. With the help of the embassies of Bangladesh and African countries as well as the FRRO (Foreigners Regional Registration Office), we help them get Emergency Travel Documents (ETD). While they are with us, we provide free shelter, water, electricity and some food items and then arrange for their safe return to their home countries. The institution has so far sent back more than 300 foreigners to their home countries. Happy to support foreigners of all nationalities and help the government and FRRO in their efforts.
Thomas Raja (Auto Raja), Founder and Secretary of New Ark Mission of India in the service of humanity, and Syed Khairul Alam, Chairman of the Human Rescue and Child Protection Organization, a humanitarian social worker from Bangladesh, seek your support in continuing their efforts to serve the poor and needy.
